Over the last few years we have made major improvements to the facilities available to the students of the school.

These include:

In September 2003, three new ICT rooms were opened.

In September 2004, the school hall was refurbished with a state of the art sound and vision system and the gym floor was relaid. 

In April 2005, seven new Science laboratories were opened. 

In July 2005, the students were provided with a patio recreation area which is currently being planted up by the school groundsman. 

In September 2005, 4 new History rooms were opened. 

In December 2005, school recieved a Big Lottery grant of £125,000 to drain the school playing fields and re-surface the astro-turf.
